Mission Statement
Creating Inclusive Opportunities is a collaborative organization that supports individuals, age 3 years to adulthood, with autism and other developmental disabilities to acquire the necessary and socially significant skills to succeed in the inclusive community, home, and school environments with their typically developing peers. CIO utilizes a behavior analytic, individualized, and person centered approach to teaching individuals to build positive relationships with their peers, access activities and locations in their community, and successfully transition throughout their day to enhance their quality of life.
Established in March 2007, CIO became a vendor with the Tri Counties Regional Center to provide social skills instruction. CIO is also contracted with the Ventura SELPA to provide education consultation and behavior consultation to the 21 Ventura County school districts. In September 2007, CIO joined the board of Ventura County Autism Society, is a member CAL TASH, and the Council of the Exceptional Child. In November 2007, CIO became a vendor for the North Los Angeles Counties Regional Center to provide social skills instruction.
Jeremy and Tiffany Wilson are a husband and wife team who have been working in both public and private sectors in the field of special education since 1999. Jeremy and Tiffany both possess their MA degree in Special Education and teaching credentials in Special Education with an emphasis in Moderate to Severe disabilities. Jeremy and Tiffany have training and experience implementing multiple service delivery models such Discrete Trial, SCERTS, PECS, PRT, Positive Behavior Support, Full Inclusive Education, Open Court Reading, and Early Intervention. CIO utilizes a integrated service delivery model.

Behavior Unit
Creating Inclusive Opportunities Behavior Unit (CIOBU) offers behavioral programing to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. CIOBU is proudly lead by Clinical Director Dr. Stephen Johnson, BCBA-D. CIOBU is currently a vendor with the North LA County Regional Center and will soon be a vendor with the Tri County Regional Center.
