CIO strongly believes in inclusive practices for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. Inclusive educational practices must be collaborative, individualized,  and person centered. Educational instruction and materials should be modified and adapted to meet the abilities and needs of the individual child. CIO provides consultation, support, and training to schools and teachers to help facilitate a positive inclusion experience. CIO also provides direct service support for children who are in a full inclusive setting.

CIO offers education consultation and tutoring to individuals with autism, other developmental disabilities, and learning disabilities. Academic skill attainment and homework can be difficult. Students with significant learning disabilities will need a little extra attention while learning and practice new skills. CIO will help by developing a program to assist individuals learning needs.
